FAIRFAX BROW BANDS

Fairfax bridles have a unique / proprietary screw attachment for brow bands. The brow bands are screwed to the bridle. On the horse side, the bridle has padding to cover the screws.

On the outside, the bridle has a metal plate with the Fairfax logo. Because of this arrangement, usual brow bands and standard Brow Bands for Charities do not fit a Fairfax bridle.

Good news! You can still get a Brow Bands for Charities brow band for your Fairfax bridle! Procedure:

• YOU ORDER A FAIRFAX BROW BAND:
  • I do not stock Fairfax brow bands. You can order a plain piped Fairfax leather brow band, which is a Fairfax brow band with screws and an empty channel for bead placement. The channel is sized for 8mm beads and all the Fairfax brow bands are U-shaped.
  • Click here to order a piped plain Fairfax brow band through HCS, USA Saddlery (https://www.hcsusasaddlery.com/ or 240-835-5566), located in Clearspring, Maryland. The HCS, USA Saddlery Fairfax brow bands webpage showing options is depicted below. If not in stock, it can take one to two months for the brow band to arrive from England.
  • When you order the Fairfax brow band, you can have it mailed to your address, after which you mail it or bring it to me, or have it mailed directly to my address (Leslie Raulin, 2027 Gapland Road, Jefferson, MD 21755). If it will be mailed directly to me, please contact me so I can anticipate its arrival.
• DETERMINE BROW BAND DESIGN:
  • Before or after you order the Fairfax brow band, using this Brow Bands for Charities website (click here) or emails with me (LeslieRaulin@gmail.com), determine an 8mm bead design you want.
  • I can use most of the 8mm bead designs on this website or we can determine a custom design.
• COST:
  • Your cost for a Brow Bands for Charities brow band is $10 materials (beads, etc.) and a minimum $30 donation for one of the four Brow Bands for Charities designated charities, for a total of $40 minimum. This is in addition to your cost for the Fairfax brow band, which you pay directly to HCS, USA Saddlery. Payment to me is via check or PayPal (email me for PayPal instructions).
  • If the complete brow band will be mailed to you, there is an additional cost of $8.50.
  • Payments are via check (mailed to me or dropped off at my house) or PayPal (I will provide instructions to you). I also accept cash, but not via mail.
• RECEIVE YOUR BROW BAND:
  • I will notify you when your brow band is completed.
  • If you are near Jefferson, Maryland, you can pick it up at my place.
  • If you want the brow band mailed to you, and you have paid the $8.50 mailing cost, I will mail it to you.
