HOW IT WORKS

COLORS & MEASUREMENTS:

  • The brow band materials are available in many colors, some of which I stock and some of which need to be custom ordered for your custom-made brow band (click here or click “COLORS & MEASUREMENTS” above).
  • The brow bands length and loop size can be sized for your horse and bridle, whether in stock or custom ordered (click here or click “COLORS AND MEASUREMENTS” above).
  • Since the Biothane brow bands have snaps (click here or click “”COLORS AND MEASUREMENTS” above, it is easy to exchange brow bands on the bridle – all the more reason to get multiple brow bands!

COSTS: The costs vary, depending upon your design choices. Click here or click “COSTS” above.

BROW BANDS: The brow band photos on this website (click here or click “BROW BANDS” above) show brow bands I have made. Some of the brow bands are ready-made and available for sale. Some of the brow bands may have been sold but I can make duplicates of most of them. A few of them were one-of-a-kind and have been sold. They can also be custom ordered with your show color(s) and/or your favorite color(s) and the best size for your horse.

LEATHER BROW BANDS: I have a limited number of ready-made leather brow bands and leather brow band blanks. Click here or click “LEATHER BROW BANDS” above for photos and the list of blanks available. I am phasing out leather brow bands so will not be ordering more blanks.

BELTS: I am now making Biothane belts (click here or click “BELTS” above). They can be plain, or have 10″ or 20″ of beads. You can have a brow band and belt that match each other!

ORDER FORMS: This web site has easy-to-use online forms (click here or click “ORDER FORMS” above) to order brow bands and belts.

BROW BAND MATERIALS:

  • Base Materials
    • 1″ wide biothane. 
    • All leather commercial brow bands: 1″ wide.  (I have a few black, straight and U-shape, of various sizes, in stock.  I am phasing out leather brow bands.)
  •  Side Strips:
    • Leather side strips
    • Biothane side strips (only for 6mm and 8mm beads).
  • All Biothane brow bands have metal snaps.

BROW BAND AVAILABILITY:

Many of the brow bands on this website are ready-made and immediately available.  Other brow bands on this website have been sold; however, I can usually make similar brow bands upon request.  Some of the brow bands in the photos on this website are one-of-a-kind; if they sell, they are no longer available. If you have particular color, style and size choices, let me know what you want and I can usually make it for you (there may be a lag time as I may need to order materials).  For special requests, contact me at LeslieRaulin@gmail.com and I will get in touch with you.  For custom-ordered brow bands I usually email a photo of a mock-up for your approval.

BELT MATERIALS:

  • 1″ Biothane in stock or custom order colors
  • 1/4″ Leather or 3/8″ Biothane side strips
  • Black buckles
  • Black loops.

BELT AVAILABILITY:

I do not keep a stock of ready-made belts. Each belt is custom-made.

HOW TO REQUEST/PURCHASE/RECEIVE A BROW BAND AND/OR BELT:

You can request a brow band (A) via this website, (B) see them in Jefferson, MD, or (C) see them at shows (FADS @ Blue Horse Farm, FADS @ Plantation Valley Stables, and some other shows).

(A) Via this Website: 

  • Submit the Online Form (click here********).  I will then email you regarding availability, design, etc.  I may do a mock-up of the design and email a photo to you.
  • Payment:
    • PAY WITH A CHECK: Mail a check (made out to Leslie Raulin) for the materials, donation, and postage and handling fee to Leslie Raulin, 2027 Gapland Road, Jefferson, MD 21755.  I will send the donation amount to the charity.  OR
    • PAY WITH PAYPAL FRIENDS AND FAMILY: Pay via PayPal Friends and Family for the materials, donation, and postage and handling fee.  Contact me for instructions.  Since this is not a commercial endeavor, you MUST use PayPal “Friends and Family.”
    • Since this is a hobby, not a business, I do not take credit cards.
    • I will send the donation amount to the charity.
  • Receive Brow Band and/or Belt:
    • If you requested to have the brow band and/or belt mailed to you, I will mail it.
    • If you requested to pick up the brow band and/or belt in Jefferson, MD, I will let you know when it is available for pick up.
    • If you requested to pick up a brow band and/or belt at a designated show, I will let you know if I will be at that show.

(B) See in Jefferson, MD: If you want to see the brow bands at my farm, we can arrange a day and time.  Email me at LeslieRaulin@gmail.com.  If you get a ready-made brow band, you save the postage and handling fee.

(C) See / Pick Up at a Show:  If you want see the brow bands at a show (FADS @ Blue Horse Farm,  FADS @ Plantation Valley Stables, and other shows where they will be on display).  If you get a ready-made brow band, you save the postage and handling fee.
